It's a Totally Tubular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Party!

Cowabunga Dude!

My son Ryder turned 4 and we threw him a Ninja Turtle party! This was such a fun party to put together! Ryder LOVES the Ninja Turtles...so it was extra special to see his reaction when he saw the party come together.

Here are the details:

Super duper yummy cupcakes by Hansen Cakes (assorted flavors!)

Adorable edible cupcakes toppers by Les Pop Sweets

Cupcake wraps - I just bought cute chevron cardstock paper and cut these out myself

I normally stay up until 3am making cake pops for Ryder's birthday parties, but this year I was lucky enough to find an amazing baker through my sister so I could get some sleep this year!  She is so incredibly talented...make sure to check her out!

These were one of my favorite elements to the party! I was stuck on what to do for centerpieces and my husband came up with the brilliant idea to make topiaries that represents the 4 turtles! He said it and I could immediately envision it! We bought topiaries from Michaels, put them in metal tins from Ikea and filled them with Jolly Ranchers.  Fun, easy, and unique!

As part of the favors I made foam nunchucks and it was SUPER easy! I purchased some foam pipe insulation, rope and lime green duck tape. Cut the foam insulation into 8 inch pieces, poke a hole through the top end of each piece (I used a chopstick), string the rope through all four holes and tie it off. Then tape both ends and voila!!! It was a huge hit with the kids and best of all, they couldn't hurt each other playing with them!!

We had a bounce house with a slide inside and the kids went nuts! They all definitely let their energy out. I have a feeling there were some naps happening after our party ;)

And a Ninja Turtle party wouldn't be complete without a huge Ninja Turtle pinata!! This was most of the 3-4 year olds first time hitting a pinata and they loved it! It provided some great entertainment for the parents as well...haha!

I have to mention, Ryder's wearing our new alexander & sophia lime green harem pants! Aren't they awesome? We are so excited to release them :) Well...that's all for now, hope you enjoyed getting an inside look into Ryder's party! It was a great time and we can't wait for the next one!!

P.S. I can't believe my baby boy turned 4. This is all going too fast!! I love you Ryder!!! ~Mommy
